Heidi began following the New Kids on the block in 1988 when her best friend Vicki called her to show her this new group and video she saw on MuchMusic.  Heidi immediately agreed that this band of boys were so cute and the music was great and that began the crazy FanDom.

In 1996 Heidi created a small website called NKOTB Canada…with the same idea in mind – promoting the band and sharing with other fans in Canada.  She made a lot of new friends and penpals and has a basement full of old goodies that she’s collected and traded for back in the day..

She supported the ‘kids’ through 1988 through their 1994 break up and then each ‘kid’ in their solo careers over the many years until their recent 2008 reunion.  When the reunion became official a new and improved web blog became the output of the impending tour news and excitement.

Heidi met the ‘kids’ for the first time in Toronto at the first show of the reunion tour, September 18, 2008 and has continued to meet them in various places and times and feels blessed to have had this opportunity and to share it with her dear friends, especially her best friend of 24 years, Vicki.

Heidi loves to meet fellow fans and has had the opportunity to do this over the 8 shows she attended in 2008 in various cities and continues to do so in 2009.  She is very thankful for her blog readers and the many dear friends she has made through this venue.

Heidi is a Jordan Girl and has been since the very beginning but she loves all of the guys very much and appreciates what makes each one an individual.
